UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: TLC's 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9 has returned to the screens with new patients and their painful woes. People from across America visit the dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon Dr Sandra Lee for help with everything from huge masses growing on their bodies to squeezing out blackheads. In this season, viewers have already seen a variety of problems like burning rashes and odoriferous, painful legs.
However, in one of the latest episodes, Dr Lee meets Krystal, who seeks help regarding her "unicorn bump" that's growing on her forehead and giving her headaches. It will surely be intriguing to see if Dr Lee is able to pop the unique bump of Krystal.
Who is Krystal?
Krystal, a patient in one of the newest episodes of 'Dr Pimple Popper', dubs herself a witch who looks to clear a curse of a cyst from her face. She has a huge growth above her eye, which she has labeled her "unicorn bump" because of its location. The patient also states that she has been suffering from headaches due to the bump, as it causes increased pressure on her head, especially by stretching the skin. So, Krystal looks forward to getting much-needed help from 'Dr Pimple Popper'. Krystal says, "I call it my unicorn bump," adding, "It's solid, and I can kind of move it around a little bit," describing its nature to help Dr Lee diagnose it.
What happened to Krystal in 'Dr Pimple Popper'?
Krystal elaborated on her bump to Dr Lee, saying, "I get headaches from just the pressure from it pressing against and the skin being pulled." Her painful situation looks similar to one of Dr Lee's previous patients, who had a "hard bulbous growth" above his eye and was wary of medical procedures and getting it checked by a doctor, despite the bump growing for more than a decade. Furthermore, Krystal's growth above her eye that protrudes from her forehead has often made her feel conscious.
Where is Krystal now?
Dr Lee examined Krystal's bump and found it difficult to pop. However, after an elaborate examination, Dr Lee was finally able to pop the bump. After the successful diagnosis and treatment, Krystal felt confident as she would be able to finally go out without worrying about the "unicorn bump." She appeared quite happy to get rid of the curse of a cyst on her face. The dermatologist Dr Lee has always inculcated hope in her patients who have been struggling with painful or embarrassing skin conditions for a long time. And in the case of Krystal, she supported her to overcome her awkwardness and to regain her self-confidence.
Episodes of 'Dr Pimple Popper' air on Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
