UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: The latest episode of 'Dr Pimple Popper' presented viewers with a varied collection of people dealing with distinct skin issues that have damaged not just their physical appearance, but also their self-esteem and everyday lives. Dr Sandra Lee encountered a patient whose life had been hampered by her large shoulder growth.
In May, a woman with a "huge lump" behind her shoulder sought aid from Dr Lee, fearing she would have it for the rest of her life. Dr Lee, a cosmetic surgeon, and dermatologist, had previously assisted a guy with a "ginormous saggy lump" on his hip, as well as a lady who went to see a wizard about her "third boob." But it's not only lumps and bumps she's here for; she's helped patients all around the country with anything from "maggots in toes" to cysts "smelling like scrambled eggs." During this extended part of Season 9, Dr Lee met with another patient who had a similar condition and wished to reclaim her social life.
Who is J-Fab on 'Dr Pimple Popper'?
J-Fab's colorful personality with a troublesome shoulder bump that hampers her style, was introduced to TLC viewers. Despite her extroverted personality, this setback shook her confidence. Viewers followed her as she sought out Dr Lee for transformational therapy that would eventually free her from the burden of her shoulder bulge.
J-Fab, whose actual name is Shirley, sobbed in front of the cameras when discussing her health. She thought her shoulder bump was impeding her style. She did, however, have her entire squad cheering her on as she received the treatment of a lifetime. And her entourage arrived at the clinic dressed entirely in leopard patterns.
What happened to J-Fab in 'Dr Pimple Popper'?
Dr. Lee operated on her patient while J-Fab's four friends sat in the waiting room, frightened but also supportive. While Dr Lee kept her patient calm and talked to her as she was not sedated during the procedure, their support group drank tequila in the waiting area. They even put on music that Dr Lee could listen to during the surgery. Dr Lee worked her way around the large cyst and made sure she removed the last part of the lipoma, including the sac, so it could not reappear. Dr Lee, on the other hand, explained that she was trying hard not to be distracted by the Dura-Dura gang's celebration in the waiting room.
Where is J-Fab from 'Dr Pimple Popper' now?
Dr. Lee managed to treat J-Fab's shoulder bump and despite all the dancing and partying internet criticized the patient. J-Fab confirmed in her update that she is doing well and wants to regain her former social life. Which seemed easy given the support from the Dura Dura gang.
'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9 airs new episodes every Wednesday on TLC at 9 PM ET.
