Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the clip with the caption, "Trump: "I will challenge California's depraved new laws that strip parents of parental rights and that encourage minors to be transported across state lines for sexual mutilation"," quoting the ex-president's beginning lines from the speech.
In the video, Trump continued, "Can you believe this? We talked about it before. Can you believe we have to say this? And we will prosecute those involved in this sick California scheme for violating federal laws against kidnapping and sex trafficking."

Internet slams Donal Trump for his speech on 'challenging' California's new parental rights laws
Soon after Sean Hannity made the post, users were quick to mock Donald Trump's speech about "challenging" California’s new laws.
A user wrote, "That’s a lie and not happening, not even close."
"Challenge??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣. He has no power, the only thing he’s going to challenge is whether or not he gets top or bottom bunk," quipped one.
A concerned citizen inquired, "Why didn’t he do this the first time - or any of the other stuff he promised," with another questioning, "So the president can challenge the sovereignty of a state?"
One wrote, "How do people even listen to this blowhard? Or the one in the video 😉," taking a dig at both Trump and Hannity.
Another expressed, "Why do they keep giving him airtime, all he ever does is spread hate, anger and lies, please stop him and put him away somewhere far far away, or just jail that will do."
