TOKYO, JAPAN: Felix 'PewDiePie' Kjellberg, aka PewDiePie one of the most well-known YouTubers in the world believes that sushi is appealing to people of various cultures. He has now enjoyed Japan's best cuisine ever since he arrived there in 2022.
The YouTuber who recently became a father, rated different kinds of sushi at a restaurant with his friend and fellow YouTuber Joey "TheAnimeMan" Bizinger, as part of one of his culinary excursions.
Did PewDiePie and TheAnmieMan collaborate again?
TheAnimeMan and PewDiePie visited the popular chain restaurant Sushi Zanmai in Tokyo's Tsukiji Outer Market. They tried nearly every item on the menu, including the premium and budget items.
PewDiePie tried 35 different kinds of sushi and declared the "top-quality sea eel sushi" to be the best. It costs US $5 (JP¥715) a piece and features a substantial eel slice over a bed of rice. He jokingly said it tasted a little like pancakes.
The raw octopus sushi was deemed the least appetizing by TheAnimeMan and PewDiePie due to its high chewiness, which they compared to a fatty steak with a fishy aftertaste.
It's important to note that the duo have previously collaborated on various YouTube videos, such as naming the best anime, going on a bro date, and trying out Japanese candies.
