NEW YORK: Dillon Danis, the mixed martial artist, who is currently embroiled in a bitter feud with social media sensation Logan Paul, failed to make an appearance in court for a hearing regarding a restraining order filed against him by Danish model Nina Agdal.
The order was sought by Agdal after enduring weeks of online harassment from Danis, including relentless posts with photos featuring her alongside other men in an apparent effort to provoke his boxing opponent, Logan Paul.
The situation escalated when Danis posted explicit photos and videos of Agdal without her consent, prompting her to file what has been described as a "massive" lawsuit against him, seeking damages of no less than $150,000, in addition to the restraining order.
Dillon Danis no-shows Nina Agdal's restraining order hearing
Dillon Danis was expected to appear in court for the crucial hearing concerning Nina Agdal's restraining order on September 20.
However, according to legal expert Rob Freund, specializing in advertising and e-commerce law, Danis failed to show up, leaving the restraining order intact "for the duration of the underlying lawsuit against him."
This legal development marks a significant turn of events in the ongoing dispute.
Freund added another tweet showcasing the picture of the order, with the caption, "Here's the order."
Dillon Danis continues to provoke Logan Paul online
Despite the legal proceedings, Danis has continued to taunt Logan Paul and his fiance, Nina Agdal, on social media.
In a recent post, Danis shared a nearly nude photo of Agdal just days after being served with lawsuit papers by the 31-year-old model.
The caption accompanying the controversial image simply read, "Morning," a recurring theme in Danis's posts targeting Agdal and Paul.
The tension between the MMA fighter and his opponent remains palpable as the legal battle unfolds, leaving fans and followers on the edge of their seats in anticipation of the forthcoming developments.
