LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A$AP Rocky fans think he has a new, unheard song in which he criticizes Travis Scott. Following his headline performance at Rolling Loud in Miami, the 34-year-old rapper, who is expecting his second child with girlfriend Rihanna, revealed new songs off his upcoming album 'Don't Be Dumb'.
The New York native raps, "First you stole my flow, so I stole your b***h / Then you stole my style, I need at least like 10% / All due disrespect, I hope you take offense," in outtakes from the song that have gone viral online.
Has Rihanna dated Travis Scott?
Travis Scott allegedly sought to keep his past relationship with Rihanna a secret. A podcast from 2020 said that the rapper would deny having a relationship with the 'Umbrella' singer but would instead refer to her as his "muse" in private. Before he met Kylie Jenner in 2017, Travis and the Barbadian pop diva had a secret relationship, as reported by The Sun.
An E! News insider informed the publication that Travis and Rihanna were "officially dating" as their shady romance grew throughout 2015, saying, "Already, the situation is grave. She has his undivided attention." But some close to the pop singer claimed that the overwhelming devotion was one-sided since Rihanna didn't want the world to know how close she was growing to the rapper.
As they concentrate on raising their children together, Travis and Kylie Jenner have ended any chance of a reunion. Scott, 32, and Jenner, 25, have moved on since splitting up. They announced their breakup earlier this year after a five-year on-and-off relationship.
'No one really cares'
Ater the song went viral, it didn't take long for many to assume that the musician, real name Rakim Mayers, was making fun of Scott, 32, who is reported to have dated Rihanna for a short time. One of them tweeted, "If you actually been listening to asap rocky he’s been popping his shit on how he feels bout Travis Scott and Rihanna This is 2015."
Another user wrote, "Asap rocky and Travis Scott will drop the all time worst diss tracks I guarantee it." Someone else shared, "He should’ve done this years ago. His popularity has totally fallen off and honestly no one really cares. Travis is bigger than him." Meanwhile, a user asked the rappers to clear out the clutter and wrote, "Man I hope they figure it out, then they will be able to get back to solving real world problems like microchip shortages and the prices of eggs."
