CINCINNATI, OHIO: During a recent livestream, IShowSpeed, a well-known YouTuber and a dedicated Cristiano Ronaldo enthusiast, playfully poked fun at former footballer Rio Ferdinand for his role in the 2009 Champions League Final.

IShowSpeed’s claims on Rio Ferdinand
During their livestream discussion, IShowSpeed and Ferdinand took a pause to analyze a video clip showcasing Ferdinand being outperformed in a header by Messi.
This particular goal was a memorable moment from the 2008-09 UEFA Champions League final, where Barcelona emerged victorious with a 2-0 scoreline against Manchester United at the Stadio Olimpico.
In a light-hearted and playful manner, IShowSpeed gently ribbed the Red Devils' legendary figure, jokingly implying that he might have seemed a bit sluggish in his defensive efforts against the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner.
He said, "You were lazy. You were probably tired. You were just wanting to get the game other with."
Ferdinand responded sincerely, opening up about how he often found himself reflecting on that defeat to Barcelona, "I was gambling at that point. That's one of the moments in my career that's lasted longest in my mind. We lost that final, the Champions League final. I came on here to enjoy myself, and you pull this s**t up."
In response, Speed said, "I mean as a Ronaldo fan you let Messi score so I had to point that out. Why are you letting Messi score? You sat there, you let a 5"7 man, 5"4 man score a header on you bro. You're better than that. That's why I'm bringing it up!"
In response, Ferdinand seized the opportunity to playfully tease IShowSpeed for missing his chance to score during a penalty kick.
For those who may not be aware, on Saturday, September 9, IShowSpeed participated in the Sidemen Charity game. During the match, he had a golden opportunity to score his first-ever goal in the series, but in a comical turn of events, he ended up missing a penalty kick.
Speed concluded the conversation saying, "What's worse chat, missing a penalty or letting Messi score?"
