SILOAM SPRINGS, ARKANSAS: 'Counting On' alum Jill Duggar Dillard recently lost one of her friends, Heather Ann Schisler, shaking the star completely. Jill, who is still trying to process her friend's death, took to Instagram on Saturday to inform her fans about her tragic loss.

Who was Heather Ann Schisler?
Heather Ann Schisler was 39 years old in Elm Springs, Arkansas. Being a digital content creator, Heather had expertise in writing and creating compelling content. She described herself on her social media bio, "Blessed to be redeemed by the blood of Jesus!" Heather called herself a "Busy mom" and founder of 'Passion 4 Savings' and Menu Plans. She delivered high-quality content on finance, budgeting, lifestyle, health, and environmental issues on Passion For Savings. She found the love of her life when she was studying at the University of Arkansas. Heather tied the knot with Jonathan Schisler on August 4, 2006. They then had happily married life for 17 years and got busy raising six kids out of which only four lived, Zachary, Hailey, Madden, and Breelyn Grace.
How did Heather Ann Schisler die?
Heather was struggling with cancer. In May 2023, she took to social media to share her devastating cancer diagnosis. She wrote a big note on Instagram, saying, "I received an advanced stage metastatic cancer diagnosis." She added, "We are currently working on additional testing to determine the primary source, but it has spread into both my liver and lungs." She was looking forward "to Jesus for our strength and peace during this time and so thankful that he promises to never leave us or forsake us!"
After bravely fighting cancer for months, Heather died on Jul 30, 2023.
Jill Duggar Dillard writes a heartfelt note for her friend
Jill took to Instagram on July 30 about the sad news. Uploading the picture of Heather and her family, Jill wrote, "Our hearts are breaking over the loss today of our sweet friend." She then claimed, "I hate cancer." Jill and Heather knew each other for years and were going to the small church group. Jill and Heather were even pregnant together in 2022 and had their babies just a couple of weeks apart.
Jill once again uploaded photos of Heather's memorial. Uploading the invitation card of the memorial, Jill wrote, "Cannot believe she is gone." She added, "The service and the reception were so beautiful and were so honoring to who Heather was + totally ad the all-in Heather flare."
