CLEVELAND, OHIO: On the June 19, 2023, edition of RAW, Logan Paul made his much-anticipated television return and shocked the WWE Universe with a bold declaration. He made announced his decision of taking part in the next Money in the Bank ladder match.
The announcement of the Maverick has received a variety of responses from fans. He is deemed by some to be undeserving of participating in the game. The YouTuber hasn't won any matches that would have qualified them for the ladder match. Here are the predictions and what to expect from the grand wrestling event.
Logan Paul may win MITB ladder match
These days, Money In The Bank is a little difficult for wrestlers to put together. Although it's meant to be a star-making tool, it often forces WWE into a situation they can not get out of. Logan Paul should triumph for that reason.
Paul doesn't need to tease his cash-ins every week or brag about how he accomplished this or that because he only works part-time. Those commercials would have to be cut, and they'd quickly become boring. Besides, there's something fascinating about Paul drifting off to do other things before he finally pulls a shocker.
The Usos may win against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa
Roman Reigns doesn't tend to lose many games. When he does, it's a tag-team match (as at Night Of Champions) so his teammate may take the loss. Similar events will occur at Money In The Bank in the UK; Solo Sikoa, not Roman, will lose to The Usos.
WWE has made it clear that they want to keep the Bloodline drama going as long as possible, but they won't be able to do that if Jimmy and Jey lose decisively to their cousin Roman and brother Sikoa. The Usos should emerge triumphant from the 'Civil War' and put Reigns.
If it advances the plot, Solo can afford to fall again. Then, either Jimmy or Jey can challenge Roman to a SmackDown Undisputed Title match. Creative may reserve that for SummerSlam or try to boost its TV ratings by heavily publicizing it.
Seth Rollins could retain World Heavyweight Championship
It must be a love-hate relationship for Finn Balor and SummerSlam 2016. He won the Universal Title on that show, but less than a day later, on RAW, injuries forced him to relinquish the title. At least the pay-per-view match with Seth Rollins was entertaining, and there's no reason to think this Saturday's match will be of any lesser caliber.
To exact revenge Booking Balor on Seth for the Powerbomb he threw into the crowd barrier to destroy his Universal hopes would be a cool way to make a historical reference. Finn's vengeful personality would see this as "an "eye for an eye" due to the horrific shoulder injury that followed that incident. Or a shoulder for a shoulder.
Rollins may win, but that shouldn't stop these guys from remembering old conflicts. The commentary team could add to the argument by suggesting that Balor is driven by a desire to defeat Rollins and win the title.
Cody Rhodes may beat Dominik Mysterio
Some results are bound to happen on Money In The Bank, but the pairings like Cody Rhodes and Dominik Mysterio make up for it. At the very least, this shows how far Dom has come as a character. He's tipped to win the Royal Rumble and win the Main Event at WrestleMania.
The preparation for this one has highlighted the importance of Rhea Ripley to Mysterio. In other words, he does not stand a chance in hell of defeating someone of Cody's caliber on his own. This makes for a good storyline and fits both men's personalities: Rhodes is a rugged soul who never takes it easy, while Dominik will do anything to win.
Cody will win it eventually. Cody's attempt to return to title contention by staring at the lights for Mysterio Jr wouldn't make any sense. This is just a quick way to add to Rhodes' win list.
