HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA: Bruce Willis' wife Emma Hemming had a memorable outing with their two daughters in downtown Hollywood on Sunday, June 25. The 45-year-old mother of two took Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 9 to visit the 'Die Hard' actor's Hollywood star and museum statue and later uploaded a series of photos and clips on her Instagram story.
Bruce Willis, who retired from acting due to his deteriorating health condition, also shares three daughters with ex-wife Demi Moore - Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29.
In the first picture posted to Emma's story, the Golden Globe Award winner's iconic star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame could be seen surrounded by four feet. Bruce received the honor back in October 2006. In the second post, Emma shared a short clip as she took her daughters to visit Madame Tussauds in Hollywood where the 68-year-old actor's wax statue could be seen. Evelyn, the duo's youngest daughter, was seen ambling towards the statue with Mabel already farther ahead.
'It's dad'
Evelyn called out, "It's dad" after she turned towards the camera with a joyous smile on her face. She stopped in front of the wax figure and wagged her finger at it in amusement. The statue is of Willis' iconic 'Die Hard' character, John McClane. "Let's take a picture," Mabel then said excitedly. In the post, the entrepreneur captioned, "When in Hollywood," followed by a smiling face emoji.
Emma's throwback post
Emma then gave her nearly 1 million followers a pleasant surprise by uploading a throwback photo of herself and their two daughters visiting Willis' wax statue inside the museum five years earlier. Heming could be seen wearing a colorful sundress in the image as she pouted toward the statue of her husband, whom she married back in 2009. Both Mabel and Evelyn had cheerful smiles while they faced the camera with Emma adding the text, "We've done this before 2018. #proudfamvibes." She also added a close-up picture of Evelyn holding the hands of her father's statue affectionately.
Bruce Willis' health
Bruce's family issued a statement on Instagram earlier in February this year to reveal his specific diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD). The actor has appeared on his family's social media since the diagnosis was revealed and has received overwhelming love and support from his loved ones. He was seen in a video along with his wife in June as he spent a joyous day on Splash Mountain at Disneyland and was also photographed holding his new granddaughter after Rumer gave birth in April.
Emma celebrated her 45th birthday on June 18, which also happened to be Father's Day. She posted several photos with her close ones on Instagram including one in which she was pictured alongside Bruce. "Hi! It’s my birthday and I’ve had an epic week getting to celebrate with some of my beloved family and friends," she wrote. The ex-model said she was "making a few BIG birthday wishes." She continued, "Text or call a person in your life that’s a caregiver and let them know here is X, Y, or Z I can do to help you this week."
