LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brooklyn Beckham posted a sweet message commemorating his third engagement anniversary to Nicola Peltz. The 24-year-old aspiring chef wrote, "3 years ago I asked my best friend to marry me x" in an Instagram photo published on Friday, June 23.
The son of David and Victoria Beckham posted a photo of the couple kissing on a beach. Nicola was facing away from the camera, and Brooklyn raised the phone in front of him to capture the special moment. The English media personality also told his partner in his sweet post how thrilled he is to "start a family" with her.
'I can’t wait to stay young together'
"3 years ago I asked my best friend to marry me,” Beckham expressed in his love-filled tribute. "It has been the most amazing 3 years, and you are my everything. I can’t wait to stay young together and continue to grow together. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you." He added, "You make me a better person and man every single day, and I can’t wait to start a family with you at some point x happy 3 year anniversary, Nicola Peltz Beckham."
'I can't imagine life not next to you'
Brooklyn also got a heartfelt note from his 28-year-old wife Nicola. "I love you my angel," wrote Nelson Peltz's daughter on social media. "Happy engagement anniversary. I can't imagine life not next to you. Thank you for being my person." On Nicola's Instagram, there was a photo of the adorable couple eating spaghetti while reenacting the iconic Lady and Tramp moment. Many well-known people left their good wishes in the comments section, including Brooklyn Beckham's footballer father, David, who made the joke about her saying, "Look at you always aware of the camera." Selena Gomes called the couple "my favs" in the comments.
