LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears appeared to have reunited with Jamie Lynn as she revealed she visited her estranged sister following their nasty public feud. The 41-year-old took to Instagram Tuesday night, June 20, to share a video of herself with her husband Sam Asghari.
Along with the video where Spears is joyfully dancing, she posted a lengthy caption that revealed her visit to Lynn on the set of her upcoming film 'Zoey 102. "It was nice to visit my sister on set last week !!! I’ve missed you guys so much !!! Loyal girls stay home but it’s so nice to visit family!!!", she wrote and added using Asghari's real name saying, "This is me and Hesam’s first vacation in a year."
'I'm gonna play the queen of hearts now'
Toward the end of her caption, the 'Toxic' hitmaker wrote, "I’m so so blessed and I’m gonna play the queen of hearts now!!! Normally that’s Spanish right mamma!!! Should I do French from now on ??? Latin ??? Portuguese or German??? Nah, I dunno because I don’t speak English!!!"
Though the Grammy winner did not reveal more about the visit and her mother Lynne Spears reportedly "begged" the singer this week to reconcile with her younger sister. "Lynne is begging Britney to make amends with her sister, Jamie Lynn, now," according to a source.
"They are both leaning toward a yes. Lynne knows that Britney does miss her sister and she told her that the feeling is obviously mutual," said the insider. The visit with her sister took place weeks after she made amends with her mother after many years. "My sweet mama showed up at my doorstep yesterday after three years … it’s been such a long time," Spears wrote by sharing her childhood picture.
"With family there’s always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!! And after being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!!I love you so much !!!", the 'Hold Me Close' singer continued and added, "Psss… I’m so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years !!! Let’s go shopping afterward!!!" Britney added.
Spears' mother previously apologized for singer's past suffering
In 2022, Spears' mother apologized for the singer's suffering during her 13-year conservatorship and shared that she has always tried to "do her best" for her daughter. "I have never and will never turn my back on you! Your rejections to the countless times I have flown out and calls make me feel hopeless! I have tried everything. I love you so much, but this talk is for you and me only, eye to eye, in private," Lynne wrote on Instagram.
The songstress' 'abusive' conservatorship placed by her father Jamie Spears ended in November 2021, according to Page Six.
