CLEVELAND, OHIO: While Logan Paul's controversial forest vlog made him familiar to millions, criticisms of the YouTube video, where he filmed a dead body in Japan, have continued to haunt him in the years since. Bradley Martyn, a YouTuber, recently slammed Paul for the same after making headlines for stating that he could beat Nate Diaz in a street fight.
Martyn's words infuriated Paul, whose brother Jake Paul is slated to meet the former UFC fighter in a boxing contest in August, resulting in a heated altercation between the two. Besides Martyn, UFC commentator Joe Rogan has also criticized Paul for his controversial vlog.
'Guy who filmed a dead body for views'
Martyn turned to Twitter to criticize Logan for a number of reasons, while also offering to fight 'The Maverick' without cameras, writing, "Logan Paul talking about clicks n views and I'm lame. This coming from the guy who filmed a dead body for views & all of a sudden I’m reaching for views? The same reason u even call me out is for the same purpose…VIEWS. In your own words…“To promote my fight coming up”. But when I did it in my content I’m lame?"
He further added, "Also to defend ur brother, your the guy who at every turn with KSl you don't have his back and you own brother even feels as though u don’t.. & that’s from his own words, me wanting to see someone get memed and liking someone can both co-exist. AND speaking about clicks and views, fk all that, come to my gym no cameras no content..we can just fight in front of zoo culture."
Martyn initially stated that because of his large size advantage, he could defeat Diaz in a street battle, but he later revealed that he was joking. On August 5 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, the Stockton native will meet Jake in a ten-round boxing match. He wrote in a Tweet, "@OneDaySince Come onnn that been a troll Nate’s my guy."
'I think you’re getting lame'
Paul used his 'IMPAULSIVE' show to blast Martyn for stating he could beat Diaz in a street fight. The social media celebrity-turned-wrestler stated, "I got to say something about Bradley. I think you’re getting lame. I think you’re getting lame as a person or a person who’s either searching for clicks..."
He went on to say, "Even the way you're talking about street fighting Nate. Bro, you're not gonna beat Nate Diaz in a street fight... Bradley, you go to be humbled... I will invite you to Puerto Rico to spar with me to be humbled." While Paul and Martyn have both called each other out, it is unknown whether they will fight in the future.
A Twitter user shared a clip writing, "Logan Paul wants to humble Bradley Martyn."
