BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Dr Terry Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif are scrubbing in for another horrific season of 'Botched'. This summer, the hit E! series returned for an eighth season filled with plastic surgery nightmares, anomalies, and mishaps.
A woman with a big tumor on her foot, a dog bite sufferer who lost the entire tip of her nose, and a skin cancer survivor who underwent a 10-hour treatment that left a significant hole in her face are among the patients seeking Dr Dubrow and Dr Nassif's assistance in Season 8.
Plus, one optimist underwent a regular tummy tuck after decreasing weight, only to have a life-threatening illness that nearly killed her and left her stomach disfigured.
Along with failed operation survivors, the doctors encounter a procedure-crazy patient who is preoccupied with boosting his butt, lips, and other body attributes.
The 'Botched' physicians encountered Carolina on the August 10 episode as they assisted the woman in healing from a 6-year-old wound.
Who is Carolina on 'Botched' Season 8?
Dogs aren't always the finest of companions. Carolina told the physicians on tonight's all-new 'Botched' how a dog play date turned nasty when a friend's dog attacked her face. Carolina's nose was able to be salvaged and transported to the hospital by paramedics on the scene.
Dr Dubrow and Nassif seemed concerned that the surgeon had not done enough to salvage Carolina's original nose. Carolina informed the cameras that she was never told how many operations she would need to have in order to restore her nose.
She stopped counting after 15 or 16 operations in 6 years. The physicians just kept telling her that she needed to let the operation heal before returning for another one. "Didn't make it any better," Carolina grumbled. "Just keep making it worse."
What happened to Carolina on 'Botched' Season 8?
Some of you may be aware that Dr Nassif's love for rhinoplasty stems from a young patient he treated years ago who was bitten by a vicious dog. He was astounded that Carolina's surgeon had not prescribed antibiotics following the dog bite.
Although an open rhinoplasty was originally planned, due to Carolina's poor diet, Dr Nassif performed a closed rhinoplasty to help limit the risk of any potential problems.
Laura Fischer, an amazing NP at the Nassif Medical Spa, administered a laser treatment (BBL) while Carolina was still in the OR to help lessen any redness and scarring she may have had the following surgery.
Dr Nassif frequently recommends this to his patients. Dr Nassif was ecstatic with his procedure on Carolina.
Where is Carolina from 'Botched' Season 8 now?
When Dr Dubrow complements Dr Nassif, they know they've done a good job. Carolina's metamorphosis had onlookers in tears. Carolina may finally leave her house and remove the bandage
However, this operation was much greater than that as it saved her psychologically, emotionally, and nutritionally.
It, once again, proved the point of the show.
'Botched' Season 8 airs new episodes every Thursday on E! at 10 pm ET.
