LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Emma Watson confounded admirers with her "gravity-defying" attire. The 'Harry Potter' actor, 33, uploaded photos of herself and her brother Alex posing for his new gin company called Renais on Instagram.
Emma looked incredible in a gorgeous strapless baby blue draped minidress with asymmetric wire from Loewe's spring 2023 collection. The garment's design quickly perplexed the superstar's fans, who wondered how it kept in place and inquired if Harry Potter-style magic was involved.
'This dress is defying physics'
As soon as the picture surfaced online, fans expressed their amazement at Emma's dress. One of her fans took to Instagram and wrote, "The dress said wingardium leviosa." Another said, "This dress is defying physics."
Another perplexed user wrote, "The dress looks like it's floating. I'm trying to understand." Another user hilariously wrote, "I'm all for sustainable fashion, but ma'am. Are you wearing an upside-down umbrella?"
Emma's relationships
Just a few days earlier, Emma was photographed riding on the back of snack business founder Ryan Kohn as the two enjoyed themselves in Venice. Just a few weeks after it was announced that she had broken up with Brandon Green, the son of retail magnate Sir Philip Green, the newly single celebrity appeared to be in good spirits.
After spending 18 months together, Emma and Brandon's romance came to light when they were seen holding hands in Venice. After a serious romance, Emma and Brandon are rumored to have broken up sometime after Christmas.
Brandon is known for his love of parties and has dated several models in the past. He was reportedly seen rubbing Kate Moss' bum when she was on vacation in St Barths. His Bar Mitzvah, held at the legendary Hotel Du Cap, included performances by Beyonce and Andrea Bocelli. He was raised in the tax haven of Monaco. But more recently, he showed an interest in humanitarian causes like biodiversity and the seas, and acquaintances regarded him as "polite and smart," as reported by DailyMail.
He appeared like an excellent fit for Emma who pursued a degree at Brown University after the 'Harry Potter' series ended. She now aspires to work behind the camera after founding two film production firms and directing a Prada ad.
Emma once said that she was 'self-partnered'
Emma once said that she was "self-partnered" while she was single, but by more traditional measures, she has been a serial monogamist who has also been serially unlucky in love.
Rugby player Tom Ducker was a young love interest. Afterward, he began a more serious relationship with Will Adamowicz and Matt Janney, two other Oxford University students, as per reports.
She dated three young tech millionaires, with William "Mack" Knight being the most notable. They ended their two-year relationship in late 2017. Chord Overstreet, a charming actor from 'Glee', enjoyed a six-month love affair while she was on the mend. In the 2018 summer, they split up, as reported by DailyMail.
