ATLANTA, GEORGIA: 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' may not have had the fire and drama viewers expected this season, but things are heating up in Kenya Moore's personal life.
The 'Bravo' star is now being lampooned in an upcoming episode set to air on August 18, with co-star Cynthia Bailey mocking her divorce status in a preview dropped by the network.
Kenya had been unlucky in love throughout her time on the program, but she thought meeting Marc Daly would alter that. Unfortunately, it did not.
While Kenya and Marc's divorce was announced years ago, the 'RHOA' cast member said that she and her ex-husband have yet to finalize their divorce — but she is optimistic that they will be able to make headway in the near future.
Kenya has also opened up about her divorce from Marc and where it stands now.
Are Kenya Moore and Marc Daly divorced?
Kenya said in a May interview with The Daily Dish that the couple has another mediation meeting scheduled and that she hopes they will reach an agreement soon.
"Hopefully, that turns out well. If not, we have to go to trial, and I don’t want to go to trial. I never have," she explained.
"I wanted to settle and move on and just wish everyone well [and] find the happiness that you feel you didn’t have in this scenario. Happiness and peace."
Marc and Kenya filed for divorce in August 2021. Kenya and Marc announced their separation in September 2019, over two years after they married in June 2017.
Marc requested that his trial with Kenya be sealed in court filings. It is set to have begun in late June. Marc informed the court that he and Kenya are "celebrity figures".
According to the documentation, Kenya "appear[s] on a television show that airs nationally and internationally. The parties’ relationship status has received a lot of media attention due to [Kenya’s] detailing their private issues on the reality television show she is filming."
Sections of Marc's motion that explained why he made the request were likewise sealed. Kenya has not yet reacted to Marc's submission.
Prior to filing for divorce, the former couple reached an arrangement that gave Kenya primary custody of their daughter and Marc visitation.
They are presently fighting over Moore Manor because, despite the fact that Kenya paid for and constructed it with her own money, Marc believes he is entitled to a share of the property.
Kenya allegedly refused to sign a "Partial Settlement Agreement and Permanent Parenting Plan" at mediation in May, according to Marc.
Kenya, according to Marc, wants to prolong the dispute and has refused to sign the paperwork. Her actions, he said, "reflect her continued attempt to expand these proceedings."
Marc also expects Kenya to pay his legal bills. The case is still ongoing.
Cynthia Bailey mocks Kenya Moore on co-star's divorce status
In the upcoming episode of 'RHOA', Cynthia tells Kenya that she is "officially single." Kenya asks if her divorce is final, which Cynthia confirms.
Cynthia and Mike Hill announced their divorce after two years of marriage in mid-October, around their anniversary.
Kenya goes on to congratulate Cynthia as she adds how she doesn't want to be happy for Cynthia, but she is.
Cynthia, in her confessional, asks Kenya to "wrap it up. She further adds, "I've been married and divorced, and you are still getting a divorce. One way to throw shade at her co-star's ongoing legal battle."
'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 15 airs on Sundays at 8 pm ET on Bravo.
