Who is Summer Rios?

Summer Rios is a TikTok sensation who originally belongs to Brunswick, Ohio but currently lives in California. Summer has grown up signing up for talent show competitions and idol competitions locally. Back in middle school, Summer's friends convinced her to start a music account on social media which slowly started to gain views. Summer also got recognized by a few producers and music companies who wanted to collaborate with her or sign her. Summer chose to work with All Star Music due to the fact they were very supportive. Summer currently has around 500K followers on TikTok with millions of views on YouTube. Her YouTube video 'River- Bishop Briggs' has amassed over 2 million views. Summer has been singing, writing, and playing instruments since she was a child. However, in an interview, Summer revealed how she became a TikTok sensation. While referencing her viral cover of the song 'Fingers Crossed' by Lauren Spencer-Smith, Summer revealed to Hype Magazine, "I covered this song on Tik Tok awhile back and got a ton of views on the original cover, along with a blooper video of my boyfriend walking in on me and scaring me in the middle of singing that song."

Summer also noted that the song was trending on the radio and TikTok and it got a lot of attention from her phone-recorded cover. So that's when she decided to record the cover professionally in the studio. Summer has always seen Machine Gun Kelly as her biggest inspiration from Ohio. Meanwhile, when it comes to songwriting, Summer takes inspiration from Nessa Barrett, Olivia Rodrigo as well as the Italian rock band Maneskin. Notably, Summer's cover has been also recognized by some famous artists including, Justin Bieber, Andra Day, Lauren Spencer-Smith, Demi Lovato, Natalie Jane, Bishop Briggs, and more. Moreover, she also had the chance to meet Greyson Chance when she was invited to participate in an Abercrombie & Fitch campaign.
