PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Prepare to be amazed as 'America's Got Talent' surprises its fans once again with an unforgettable performance in the fifth audition round. M, an unknown pianist and dancer duo, captivated everyone with their unique act. Adding to the intrigue, they appeared on stage wearing creepy Michael Myers masks, heightening the eerie atmosphere of their performance.
To proceed to the next stage of the auditions, an act must receive a minimum of three "yes" votes from the four judges: Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell. If two or more judges press the buzzers to show their disapproval, the act is immediately eliminated. Sadly, despite Sofia's enthusiasm for the act, the remaining judges voted 'No,' preventing them from moving forward. Fans immediately took to social media to slam the judges for buzzing the act.
Sophia Vergara says 'YES' to M's unexpected act
A mysterious performer wearing a Michael Myers mask makes an eerie appearance on the stage. When Simon asks who they are and why they're there, the act remains silent and reveals a piano instead. They start playing while another Michael Myers figure appears behind the judges' panel. One of the masked figures plays 'A Thousand Miles' on the piano while the other dances.
Heidi presses the X button, saying, "It wasn't enough for me!" Howie expresses his disappointment, saying, "I was waiting for something, and I don't think I got something." Simon also presses the X, and unfortunately, the act doesn't make it through to the next round. Only Sofia votes yes, but it's not enough to advance them.
'Judges got this act wrong! It was GOOD'
Fans expressed their disappointment when the judges buzzed M out of 'AGT', despite their unique act managing to captivate the audience. One fan mentioned, "I recognize that song they play in the beginning of the audition. (Toccata and Fugue in D minor) by J.S. Bach. Love that piece, and love the audition!" Another fan commented, "People are not used to Michael Meyers being sociable. That's new for them, which is why the judges didn't let them through." Some fans criticized the judges, saying, "I guess the judges...they don't know talent; that's why the wrong talent wins." Another fan shared, "What's up with them?? I thought this was pretty funny and creative, in my opinion." Another fan added, "They were so cool, yet the judges said no because it didn't meet their expectations. But then, if you have a sad story, you get a golden buzzer." One user expressed, "Way better than many other useless acts that have gone through... it even caused me to pause and watch..."
