PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: The final four were revealed after nine performers were removed from 'America's Got Talent' on August 30th. Ahren Belisle and Murmuration received the most votes and will be joined in the final four by Lavender Darcangelo and Adrian Stocia & his dog, Hurricane.
Fans are split by the outcomes from Wednesday night, with one fan posting on X. One person wrote, "The drum group should have went through too."
One person argued, "I don’t get why Murmmuration is even in the finals. Babies can learn and do sign language. How can this be considered a talent. Can you imagine them in Vegas, the entire audience would be asleep with boredom."
Another person noted, "America got it wrong." A fourth viewer tweeted, "Sorry but the drum group and Murmuration should’ve made it."
On the other hand, one fan noted, "The 2 best went through." Another person chimed in, "Y’all had my vote! Congratulations!" One person further commented, "Both deserved." One user also wrote, "Much better than last week. Awesome."
Which acts topped America’s vote in 'AGT' Qualifiers 2 Results?
Following the show of 'AGT' on Wednesday, four performers have been confirmed to compete in the Season 18 finals. America sent vocalist Lavender and dog act Adrian & Hurricane to the final round last week.
As usual, the 11 acts from the August 29 performance show — Ahren, Three G, Alfie Andrew, Dani Kerr, Andrew Stanton, the Sharpe Family Singers, Chioma and the Atlanta Drum Academy, Erica Coffelt, Murmuration, Ryland Petty, Steel Panther, — returned to the stage on Wednesday to find out whether America voted to send them to the finals, or if their 'AGT' journey was over.
And because no results show would be complete without a surprise guest or two, Shin Lim, the winner of both 'AGT' Season 13 and 'AGT: The Champions', returned on Wednesday's broadcast for yet another incredible, or should we say hair-raising, magic performance.
This week's first performer to proceed to The Finals was Ahren. Murmuration was the second performance to advance in the competition.
When will 'AGT' Season 18 Qualifiers 3 air?
The third week of 'AGT' live performances for Season 18 will air on September 5 (performance show) and September 6 (results show), with 11 of the 55 total acts performing in front of judges Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell, and Sofia Vergara, as well as host Terry Crews. Only the top two vote-getters from each of the five first qualifying rounds will proceed to the grand finale, so voting is critical.
During the "Qualifiers 3" week, two Golden Buzzers will take the stage: Simon's choice, blind and autistic singer Putri Ariani, and the audience's choice, Mzansi Youth Choir. The identities of the 11 forthcoming artists have been verified by NBC. They are as follows:
Barry Brewer Jr.
Herwan Legaillard
Justin Jackson
MOS
Mzansi Youth Choir
Phil Wright & Parent Jam
Philip Bowen
Putri Ariani
Summer Rios
Trigg Watson
Warrior Squad
Who is 'AGT' comic Ahren Belisle?
Ahren Belisle, a 28-year-old from Toronto, has cerebral palsy and relies on a computer-generated voice from his phone to aid him with his comedic performance. The former Chippewa and West Ferris alum, who works as an engineer by day, says he started doing comedy a little over a year ago and hasn't stopped since.
Who is Murmuration on 'AGT'?
Murmuration is a dancing group from 'AGT' Season 18. Sadeck Waff, the founder and choreographer of Murmuration, had another of his group's auditions in Season 13 called Géométrie Variable, where they were dismissed in the audition round. Géométrie Variable went on to be a finalist in the fourth season of 'World of Dance'.
Murmuration previously auditioned for 'France's Got Talent' in 2021 as "Sadeck and Mega Unity," with Sadeck heading the group, where they got the Golden Buzzer from judge Sugar Sammy and ended as runner-ups. Maillot Jibril came in for Sadeck on 'AGT' since Sadeck was unwell. Jibril did not participate with Géométrie Variable on Season 13, but did appear with them on Season 4 of 'World of Dance'.
'America's Got Talent' Season 18 now airs both Tuesdays and Wednesdays on NBC at 8 pm ET
