MIAMI, FLORIDA: During a fun sparring match, Dillon Danis was seen knocking out Adin Ross and pushing him to the ground, as per a viral video.
Danis, who is about to face Logan Paul in an exhibition contest on October 14 arranged by the Misfits Boxing, has been promoting it through collaborations with social media celebrities since the fight was officially unveiled in August.
Other than that, "El Jefe" has also gained enormous popularity by using contentious promotional strategies like posting old pictures of Logan Paul's fiancee, Nina Agdal. Danis continued to promote his fight by participating in an in-person webcast with Ross, a well-known streamer.
The two met in a boxing facility and engaged in some mild contact.
Internet reacts to Dillon Danis' sparring match with Adin Ross
The Kick steamer was brought to the ground by Dillon Danis, who then submitted him with a wristlock to demonstrate his superior grappling abilities.
As a result of the video's popularity on X (formerly Twitter), Happy Punch Promotions shared it with the following caption, "Dillon Danis just son’d Adin Ross."
After the video went viral on the social media platform, netizens started reacting to it, with a user writing, "Adin has no idea how to fight this is basically bullying," expressed one, while another quipped, "his only win.. against 120 pound ki," hinting at his upcoming six-round exhibition bout with Paul.
A user slammed Ross, saying, "bro doesn’t mind being manhandled for his chat I’m peeping it."
Interestingly, most X (formerly Twitter) users appeared excited about the Danis-Paul match, which is said to be the co-main event of 'The Prime Card,' featuring KSI vs Tommy Fury as the main bout.
Dillon Danis shows Nina Agdal's controversial pictures to Adin Ross
Dillon Danis has been promoting his match with Logan Paul by targeting the latter's fiancee, Nina Agdal, and recently showed some of them to the Kick streamer Adin Ross during their meet.
El Jefe might have gone a bit far as he consistently shared images of Agdal with other men, including that of her ex-boyfriends, apparently to develop a negative perception of her and to affect Paul mentally.
The MMA fighter even talked about at an allegedly shocking photo of Agdal during the past few weeks, hinting that it might cause the battle between him and Paul to be called off, and he recently showed it to Adin Ross, a controversial streamer.
After seeing the photo, Ross said, "Bro, what the f**k. That is wild, bro. I actually feel really bad. Yeah [they would pull the fight if you showed people]. That’s too far."
Danis' last combat sports outing under the Bellator brand was in June 2019, and he has a history of not showing up to fights.
He canceled his boxing contest against KSI earlier this year for unspecified reasons. Paul, therefore, put up a $100,000 fine for Danis if the latter suddenly pulls out of the October 14 match.
